Well BANDVASSING has got you covered! What is BANDVASSING?? We are a team of music loving canvassers ready to take to the streets with your band's name, music, dates, merchandise, tickets, and mailing lists to share with the music lovers of Austin, TX. We do grassroots promotions for bands/shows/event etc. We are ready when you are so LETS GET STARTED!
	We hit up the sites in town that have the heaviest amount of foot traffic and cover as much ground as possible. They are sites that I have used in the past while canvassing for non-profit organizations. They have definitely proven to be hot spots for promoting. Check out more on the Maps page.
Once we arrive at our site we stop as many people as humanly possible and pitch them detailed presentations about your band. We let them listen to your jams on our ipods. We talk with them a bit more about you music, and if they seem to be diggin you music we give them one of these custom flyers. These flyers are the "hook", if you will, to getting the listeners to follow up with checking you out. Get the details on our Flyer Page.
We also take around mailing list and our "SHOW FO SHO" list witch provides you with info of those who would need reminders or like to be notified of other events. This is a great method of promoting. Just to prove it to you, your first 3 day campaign is FREE. Also, because we are new we are always open to suggestion and new idea.
The goal of BANDVASSING is to create a giant network of musicians helping musicians to make reaching out to people easier for the bands AND the listeners. We want to see more shows get good turn-outs, we want to see more bands coming to Austin, and, most importantly, we want to spread the love of music! This is also to provide more jobs to music lovers while still contributing to the independent music industry! Over all, we just want to help our fellow musicians with the initial promoting process starting here in Austin and eventually expanding to the rest of the nation!
